No bets because I hate handling money □ģ) Guess how old parents are in these pics - printed out a bunch of our baby pics and pinned them to a clothesline and had guests just guess verbally (answers were on the back). I knew people were going to be in and out of the room and some were coming late or couldn’t stay until the end, so I wanted activities that were passive and wouldn’t require a host to run it.ġ) Onesie decorating station - which I already described in a different comment, sorry it got so long! I also had guests pin their onesies up on a clothesline after they finished, so it was part of the room decoration.Ģ) Guess the due date - we had a huge calendar pinned up near the entrance so people could write their guesses on it. I had the same requirements for mine (no food related games-both food and diapers are expensive af these days! And in my culture it’s not done to open gifts in front of the recipient, it’s considered pretty rude and off-putting). So those are the two game but not game activities I came across and loved!□ Anyone who brought a packet of diapers or wipes got their name in a box and we did a drawing for a small gift basket at the very end of the shower! Basically everyone participated and it was a non cheesy / unique way to involve a prize and also for us to get diapers/wipes stocked up! It was actually super fun to see everyone get competitive and/or make "teams" to help someone specific win! So throughout the whole shower eating/chatting time people were finding pacis which was a fun touch!Ģ. Hid pacis all around the "venue" (aka my house downstairs where the shower was hosted) and let everyone know it was optional but whoever finds the most by the end of the shower gets a prize. We had a "pacifier hunt" that was announced at the beginning of the shower. Lol but, I also wanted to have something else to do besides sit around, eat, and open gifts. Okay I was also anti baby shower games due to cringe-ness.

It was just a really fun activity at my shower that got a lot of action so I have a lot of feelings about it □) I asked the makers to write their names somewhere on the onesies, so I could send them pics of the baby wearing them, but some of them forgot and I wasn’t paying close enough attention to see who was making what. The only thing I would’ve done differently was purchase more onesies in different colors (I only got ~20 white ones thinking it would just be me and maybe 3 friends working on it), and bought special tags for people to pin to the onesies. And it was fast to produce and not messy too, because the decals only took seconds to iron on and I opted for fabric markers instead of paint. Thinking up an original design on the spot would stump me, so I wanted to make the barrier for entry low to play □ It’s easy to pick an animal and decorate around it. I would’ve loved every one of those onesies regardless of how they looked, but a lot of my family are of the “it’s only worth doing if you’re producing something high quality” mindset. Voila! You will now receive email updates about this store.I did the same thing at mine but I also bought some cute iron-on decals so my friends and family who are shy or might be embarrassed by their drawing skills would be encouraged to participate.
